Beautiful skin starts with healthy skin. Although aging, sun exposure, stress, and smoking all take their toll, your skin is a living organ with the amazing ability to renew itself.
Ideal results are not achieved by anything you can buy over-the-counter, as most of those products only affect the surface of your skin. The only true way to rejuvenate your skin is to reach below it and work at the cellular level; however this is counterproductive if you do not also protect your skin from further sun damage.
The Zweig Skin Care System is used to improve the health of the skin in preparation for chemical or laser resurfacing. It not only promotes faster healing but also improves the basic health of the skin and helps prevent or slow further aging. This skin care system also enhances the appearance and complexion for almost everyone, even those who are not considering surgery. Problems such as acne and age spots respond well and there are products available for all skin types.

This program requires the knowledge and guidance of Dr Zweig who supervises the process with prescription and non-prescription products.
The first step to enhancing your skin texture and tone begins with a consultation with our skin care counselor who will help you select the products best suited to your skin type. Our products are very well priced with most 3-product combinations costing between $50 and $60. These products include a cleanser, a glycolic preparation (an alpha-hydroxy which exfoliates), and a moisturizer containing a strong sunscreen, which may be used alone or under makeup.
The prescription products must be purchased from a pharmacy. We offer a variety of vitamin-enriched and physician-strength skin products. While the skin care system is streamlined to decrease the number of steps that must be done, the products out perform most of the expensive over-the-counter skincare systems. We also offer body lotion in addition to the facial products.
The next step we recommend for enhanced improvement of your skin texture and tone is a series of light chemical peels.
